Ground Covers

Ground Covers

Groundcover refers to any plant that grows over an area of ground, used to provide protection from erosion and drought, and to improve its aesthetic appearance. One of the most used groundcovers is turf grass, but turf grass is not the best groundcover for all locations. Groundcover plants provide plant materials for tough, shady locations or arid, hot locations, where many plants or grasses will not grow.
